Out here the Palms offers EPL,La Liga and serie a games but they lines are all "americanized" for example today:

arsenal -1 1/2 +105 Norwich +1 1/2 -125
Tottenham -1/2 e Birmingham+1/2-120
villa pk -135 newcastle pk +115 (draw is a push)

you think this is better than bothering with the big odds where draws lose? I actually prefer the handicap lines.

anyone else?

low odds home favourites have actualy less of an overround for the bookmaker than handicaps, according to my (amateur) database the overound for 1.01-1.9 home favourites in all major leagues for the past 4 years is around 5.5%, but other than that handicaps are better. Never bet a draw on the 1x2 line, overround ranges from 15-20% on average.

Mr NJ- Personally, I don't bet in the sportsbooks here but I think it's a good thing when a place puts up soccer prices and their 20 cent straddle is certainly fair.

As far as which type of line to bet into, for me that would depend on the match in question and the prices that were being offered at the places I had accounts at. There are times I may make half a play on the money line and then half a play at -1 or -1 1/2. There are other times I may make my entire wager on the money line or make it on the goal line. Your question has many variables and I'm sure many different opinions from some of the sharp posters in this forum.
